Andrew Loomis - Fun With a Pencil

Recently on open post thursday a comment was received. which points out i didn't remind myself to explane the rest of the reason i highlighted this book to mention, In the post of the flying witch WCI, referred to in Robert Cahill comment here on open post thursday about realizing the book was an online book down loadable file, This comment actually threaded its way through the post flying witch on wci to a mention of a online pdf file of a book called
just click link and save as..
well straight from the horses mouth, its an online pdf file "an E book of sorts" an out of print book, that will take acrobat reader to view, but the book is revered as among the best educational, instruction art sketch and a great aid in teaching cartoon drawing, which lends its self directly to pattern making for carving. this book pops up online occasionally then its gone, about the legality of the book as i under stand it if its out of print its public domain, download yours at the link above..

  1. I downloaded the book and have partially read it. It has a lot of good ideas. I sure think it could be helpful ti tjose of us whi are drawing challenged!

    guess i always been a little artsy, i could draw pretty good from grade school, and i usually learn something every time i read it

    i have xp operating just updated my acrobat reader, and found the button that reads the book type to you, its a little monotone but easy on the eyes.
    man this is handier than a pocket on a shirt for my eyes,

    but it dont read the hand writing in the images..

    thought some might want to know..
