More About Carving Knives

More and more I am seeing newer wood carvers with 3 or more carving knives. Each carving knife is different. Some have longer blades, thicker blades, and some are a bit flexible. Some have a straight cutting edge, and others are curved. I see these newer carvers using all their knives, and sometimes complaining about any one of them. A suggestion would be to settle on one knife until you learn all about using it. And this will not happen over night. It takes time. Each knife is different. Each knife has different characteristics.
