Standing Santa - D

Begin to round over the sides of the robe.

 Make a stop cut that defines the top of the mustashe, and remove a sliver to reveal the cheek bottom.

 Rough in the beard.

 On the opposite side of the exposed hand,  rough in the arm with the hand in the pocket.  To achieve this step, define the arm with a stop cut, then remove a sliver to make the arm stand out.

Round over the arm with the hand in the pocket, flat plane style.  Carve a ball on the top of the hat.  Make stop cuts to define the robes trim. and cut down to the trim to make it stand out.  Continue to round over the robe sides in the flat plane style.
