Hello everyone

My name is Doug Keller "Sludgeguy" for you WCI forum readers and I'll be posting with Tom from time to time. I am a caricature carver for the most part, I've been carving for awhile. I started out using a Dremel tool carving walkingsticks, then found that people will talk to you and enjoy watching you carve if you use a quiet knife instead of a screaming drill on steriods. A simple tip I use is to hot glue the soon to be discarded pieces of wood back on to give a flat surface to complete the bandsawing with.
