I like your blog, I carve 3 to 3.5 in caricatures and I would like to be able to carve eyes that look better than what I do now. I'm a follower of Gene Messer and everything I know I learned from him watching his you tube videos. I can't wait to see the next post on your blog that will hopefully show a better eye. thanks for you you do

Thank you for your blog, it has been an inspiration to me to keep trying to whittle/carve. Whittling or carving has been something I have tried off and on since I was five years old, but until recently I have never had the right combination of tools, books/teachers, or carving woods to be able to finish a project. Thanks again for this blog and the instructions and information you provide.
I really appreciate the clear instruction with great close up photos of every step. Thank you. Looking forward to the eyes.
