Three Inch Gnome

From time to time I like slow down my whittling.  When I do this it lets me focus more on how I am whittling.  How to improve, maybe!  To slow down, I will take the time to photograph my whittling progress.  Perhaps someone maybe able to follow along and see how to whittle a specific piece.

This time, I'll be whittling a standing three inch Gnome.  I need to whittle a couple dozen of these, so they tend to go fast.

You can see that the style is kind of a modified flat plane.

We'll start this tomorrow.  Well I'll be starting it tonight, but will post tomorrow.

I'll be using my new MURRAY/Mertz knife.
